BACKGROUND

Sports advising platforms are digital services that provide guidance on sports betting, fantasy sports, and general sports analysis. They use data, statistics, and expert opinions to help users make informed decisions.

Sport advisors are known for their expertise and heavy reliance on analytics that provide customers with insights into team performance and player statistics. Successful platforms prioritize user engagement by offering interactive features and real-time updates, which fosters a sense of community. Architecture Design

The results of the research allow me to establish a task flow of the path a user might take register, filtering notification, adding a services. This task flow, followed by a more robust user flow allowed me to build an overview of the pages with a general sitemap. This sitemap was key to keeping the focus of the design organized and optimizing the insurance purchase flow.

User flow

New user registration + adding a service.

In designing the user flow for the new user registration process, my focus was on creating an intuitive and seamless experience that allows users to easily navigate the app and understand customer behavior. The flow begins with a straightforward registration form, minimizing entry barriers for new users.

To enhance user engagement, I strategically introduced services like printing and purchasing album books as part of the registration process. By incorporating these features early on, users can explore and understand the app's capabilities right from the start, providing a clear value proposition.

The user flow is designed to guide users seamlessly through the registration steps, introducing the printing and album book services at appropriate stages. This strategic placement ensures that users are aware of these offerings without overwhelming them during the initial sign-up process.

By incorporating these services within the user flow, I aim to not only showcase the app's functionalities but also to encourage users to explore and utilize additional features. This approach helps in understanding customer behavior by observing how users interact with and respond to the introduced services, providing valuable insights for further app refinement.

SiteMap

Subscriber + filtering notification, score, plays and handicapper.

In crafting the user flow design, my primary focus was on optimizing the subscriber experience by incorporating efficient filtering options for notifications, scores, plays, and handicapper information. The user flow is strategically designed to showcase these features, emphasizing easy access and user-friendly navigation.

The flow begins with a subscriber accessing their profile, where they are immediately presented with clear options for filtering notifications, scores, plays, and handicapper details. By prominently featuring these choices, users can easily customize their viewing preferences, tailoring the content to their specific interests.

I chose to highlight this user flow to streamline the process of accessing personalized information. The filtering options empower subscribers to efficiently manage and view content that matters most to them, enhancing their overall experience on the platform.
The design prioritizes simplicity and clarity, ensuring that users can seamlessly navigate through the filtering options without any confusion. By showcasing this user flow, I aim to provide subscribers with a straightforward and intuitive way to personalize their interaction with the app, ultimately improving user satisfaction and engagement.

Reasons Behind Design

Login and Authentication

In UX and UI design, ensuring easy access is crucial for a seamless user experience. When designing high-fidelity wireframes for login pages, the focus should be on providing users with a straightforward and user-friendly interface. Consider incorporating options for users to log in using their email, allowing them the flexibility to choose the method that suits them best.

To achieve this, strategically place clear and prominent login buttons for both email and other authentication methods on the login pages. Maintain consistency in design elements, such as color schemes and button styles, to create a cohesive look across the four pages. Additionally, prioritize intuitive navigation, guiding users effortlessly through the login process.
By prioritizing user choice and simplicity in the design, you enhance accessibility and contribute to a positive user experience during the login journey.

Closer look to Profile & Handicapper.

In crafting the high-fidelity wireframes for the profile page, my primary objective was to optimize user experience through easy access and meaningful features. I strategically introduced a subscription upgrade option, aiming to provide users with enhanced benefits and a personalized journey. This not only supports the platform's sustainability but also offers users a choice for a more enriched experience.

The inclusion of a section for favorite teams was deliberate, recognizing the importance of personalization in sports-related platforms. This feature allows users to effortlessly follow and engage with their preferred teams, fostering a sense of connection and relevance to their interests.

Additionally, I designed a feature enabling users to view their game picks and the ratio of winnings, promoting transparency and empowering users with valuable insights into their performance. This accessibility contributes to a seamless user experience, encouraging active participation.

I expanded the profile to include a dedicated handicapper page, showcasing essential information about their performance history, bio, and abilities. This addition serves to build trust and credibility, offering users valuable context about the handicapper's expertise.
In summary, these design choices aim to prioritize user preferences, deliver valuable insights, and create a user-friendly interface that encourages active participation and fosters a sense of connection within the platform.

Designing Personalization. Plays-News.

I made a deliberate choice to create "Your Plays" with a detailed and intuitive layout encompassing teams, games, and news. This layout not only provides users with a quick overview of their plays but also ensures a seamless and informative interface.
The inclusion of team details, game information, and relevant news contributes to a comprehensive user experience. Users can easily navigate through their favorite games, gaining insights into team dynamics and staying informed about the latest developments in the sports world.

Furthermore, I incorporated a search functionality within "Your Plays," enabling users to quickly find their favorite games. This feature enhances accessibility and allows users to efficiently manage and track their preferred sports events.

On the third page, I introduced a dedicated news section that has been filtered based on user preferences and notifications. Users can customize their news feed by selecting their favorite teams, news topics, players, and other relevant criteria. This personalized approach ensures that users receive updates tailored to their specific interests, creating a more engaging and relevant news browsing experience.

In summary, the design choices for "Your Plays" and the filtered news page prioritize easy access, user engagement, and personalization. The detailed layout and customization options aim to create a user-friendly interface that seamlessly integrates relevant information and enhances the overall user experience.
